Funky Dory

The Brief

We was approached to create a logo and brand for a new music event that was being organised by two business partners. The image they was looking for needed to be cool, funky and appeal to a 25-40 year old audience. They also needed marketing material created for a number of social media platforms and print advertising.

The Solution

This project really allowed us to get a creative juices flowing and we decided on having 2 bright complimentary colours that would change at each event depending on the time of year it was held. We chose a retro typeface that would represent some of the older style music that would be played and then a secondary font that had a more modern approach and appeal to the younger end of the target audience and the more up to date tunes. Adverts, flyers, posters and entry tickets where designed and printed along with CD's and covers to be handed out to the paying public.
